Life With Myself and Others

Supporting Educators, Parents, and Caretakers in Providing Sexual Health and Social Wellness Education for Youth with Disabilities.

As a caretaker, your priority is the happiness, safety, and health of the young person in your care.

We offer specialized training and tools to help you provide them with crucial education on topics like self-care, puberty, dating, safe relationships, and boundaries. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge, confidence, and skills for open and positive conversations about sensitive subjects. Every young person deserves to understand their body, express their emotions, and form healthy connections as they grow. Let us support you on this journey, ensuring our young people have a strong foundation to navigate the world safely.

Meet Dr. Emily Capolongo

A passionate special educator with over 12 years of experience working with incredible young people with disabilities. Throughout her journey in the school system, she couldn't help but notice a crucial missing piece in her students' education - sexual health and social wellness. Her amazing students deserved access to information about their bodies, staying safe, and understanding consent.

No matter the degree of disability, Dr. Emily found innovative ways to teach these vital concepts, supporting her students' safety and overall well-being. She also worked closely with them on dating skills, building healthy relationships, understanding boundaries, and developing self-confidence. The impact was incredible - her students experienced a boost in self-confidence, self-determination, and overall well-being.
